I’m publishing a couple of articles about Cuties from the perspective of a child sex abuse surviver.

I had no idea it was a movie. The poster looked like a tween version of Toddlers in Tiaras. That made me sad for the girls I thought would be involved in such a show and angry at the parents. It didn’t make me want to join the cancel squad — mostly because I wasn’t surprised. What else is new?

However, once I discovered it was a movie I watched the trailer and was intrigued.

I watched it an hour after I found out it was a movie.
