What Grandpa heard on the radio didn’t mean shit to Miss Marjorie Millicent Scarborough- Tiggle.

As if the burden of a rather long name, an unsatisfying manicure for which she’d coughed up 50 dollars, and an old Chevy teetering on the brink of jalopy wasn’t enough- now she’d been told with in no uncertain terms that it was up to her to care for this babbling old asshole.

Sure, her sister had been holding down the fort for the past ten years, but she, Tiggle, had a little thing called a life to lead. Now her sister was retired and had gotten it in her head to take a vacation. A god damn vacation! The nerve of that bitch!

“It will only be three months Marjorie. You aren’t working now, and he’s really sweet. Just keep him company and out of trouble. I’ll be back before you know it.”

Tiggle didn’t have the temperament for taking care of anyone, much less an old man who barely remembered his own name. Her sister knew that, of course, but left him with her anyway.
