Things I just learned today — Christmas addition; There’s a figurine in the nativity scene called “el caganer”. He’s a little dude who squats — bare-butt — and poops outside the manger scene!

El caganer (roughly translated “the crapper) is a tradition in Catalonia, Spain going back 200 years! No one knows why this magnificent pooper was created.

Goes to show that holy, magical experience or not — when ya gotta go, ya gotta go.
